Working with the team at Blue Phoenix brought a dream to reality. While we had grand visions for our wedding reception, the reality of bringing it to life was overwhelming. Bert was a master planner, breaking each step down into bite-sized chunks. He was with us every step of the way and even went out of his way to attend every meeting with our reception venue.

What separates Blue Phoenix apart from every other planning company is the vast network of experts to which they are connected. While Bert acted as our ultimate planner, he also covered the expert graphic design elements, decorating, and went above and beyond to sew multiple linens to bring our dream alive!  Additionally, Blue Phoenix was a one-stop shop. Every aspect of the planning and execution was taken care of with minimal effort on our part. He teamed with expert printers, venue coordinators, lighting designers, and helped create the playlist for our music entertainment.

You will not go wrong in selecting Blue Phoenix for any event—big or small. No dream was too big for this talented group.  You bring the dreams, and they will make it a reality!

I wanted a simple, rustic wedding that focused more on the people there, instead of all the “fluff” that comes with a big wedding. Bert & Amy saw my vision and executed it perfectly.

With a total budget of only $1000, I was amazed at all that they accomplished. From scouting locations to finding a photographer, finding a dress, coordinating the reception menu between several of my friends, even shopping for the clothing for the wedding party – They thought of everything. They also planned my bachelorette party and the opening of our wedding gifts the following day.

Finding an affordable DJ for my budget was a real challenge, so Bert stepped in and helped me plan the playlist and acted as DJ for the day. Amy found me a wedding dress on loan and surprised me by adding some removable autumn-colored ribbons to personalize it and make it my own for the day. She also sewed small autumn flowers into my veil so it was truly one of a kind.

I wanted a way to connect with those that were very important in my life, so Bert & Amy suggested the idea to have those people present me a single flower to “form” my bouquet as I went down the aisle with the last person to tie the bow around the bouquet. It was so special.

Even when hiccups arose like our unity lighting candles weren’t lit before the ceremony started and our videographer had a hard drive crash, Bert & Amy were able to find fixes and save the day. I know you’re wondering about that Unity Candle. As we walked up to it, we slightly saw Amy’s hand come out of the curtain right behind it and light them just in time. No one but us noticed!

Bert put together a photo booth for us and had everyone hold up ten fingers for our wedding date of 10-10-10. He then created a border of all the people with their “10s” for our wedding scrapbook. It was so cool.

It was a magical day, and it couldn’t have happened without their help. You won’t be disappointed with them on your team. People are still talking about my wedding to this day.

We loved working with Blue Phoenix Events! They are very friendly, fun, and creative people that not only listened to our ideas and vision but brought them to life beyond our wildest dreams! We, unfortunately, had to move our wedding up a few months and we were very worried about this huge inconvenience, but Blue Phoenix Events was very understanding and accommodating and through continued close communication, we were able to have a stress-free and stunning wedding that we will never forget!
